Rafael Nadal claimed his 21st grand slam on Sunday after beating Daniil Medvedev in the Australian Open final.
“It was one of the most emotional matches of my tennis career,” said Nadal.
With his second win of the Australian Open final, he became the most successful tennis player of all time.

Tennis players and commentators called the game legendary with 35 years old Nadal fighting back his opponent aged 10 years younger from two sets down to win three in a row.

“One month and a half ago I said maybe there was a chance that’s going to be my last Australian Open … but now that’s plenty of energy to keep going,” said Nadal.
