Morocco's Health Ministry inaugurates a new health center in Casablanca

The Health Minister, Khalid Ait Taleb has inaugurated this Saturday in Casablanca a new urban health center Oum Keltoum-Al Walaa in Bernoussi.

This new health infrastructure aims to strengthen the health network in Casablanca as well as bring basic health services closer to the local population, estimated at more than 50,000 people.

The center covers a total area of 726 square meters, with an allocated budget of MAD 6,200,000, and is equipped with basic biomedical equipment, aiming to provide different health services, both medical examinations, and paramedical treatment.

The new health center consists of a ground and a first floor. The ground floor has a reception and waiting room, two medical examination rooms, and another for the treatment of tuberculosis, in addition to an oral and dental care room, and a treatment and injection room.

The upper floor also includes a reception hall and waiting room, the chief medical officer’s office, two medical examination rooms, as well as other ultrasound and ECG examination rooms, a room for maternal and child health, and a room for family planning.
