The international player Tarik Tissoudali, striker of the Belgian football club Ghent is expected to arrive in Morocco this Saturday, January 1st, following Vahid Halilhodzic’s request to be part of CAN 2022.

The national coach Vahid Halilhodzic’s request came after FC Barcelona’s player Abdessamad Ezzalzouli did not accept to join the sporting event until March 2022.

Tissoudali will therefore replace Beni Mellal’s native Abdessamad Ezzalzouli in this sporting event.

The 28-year-old player expressed in a statement to Hesport his excitement and joy for receiving an official invitation from the national coach Vahid Halilhodzic to join the Atlas Lions in CAN’s upcoming games.

The African Cup of Nations CAN 2022 is set to take place in Cameroon, from January 9 to February 6.

The national team is placed in Group C, alongside Gabon, Ghana, and Comoros.

Morocco’s first game against Ghana for CAN 2022 is scheduled for Monday, January 10.
