A Council of Government, chaired by the Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch, will be held on Thursday.

The Council will examine three draft decrees, the first of which amends the decree issued for the application of the law on the organization of the profession of a tourist guide, while the second completes the decree issued for the application of the value-added tax (VAT) provided in Title III of the General Tax Code, says a press release issued by the Department of the Head of Government.

The third draft decree amends and supplements the decree issued for the application of the customs code and indirect taxes under the administration of customs and indirect taxes, the statement adds.

The Council will also consider a convention concerning the protection of workers against occupational hazards due to air pollution, noise, and vibration in the workplace, adopted by the General Conference of the International Labor Organization (ILO), at its 63rd session held on June 20, 1977, in Geneva, with a draft law approving the aforementioned convention.

The Council will complete its proceedings by considering proposals for appointment to high office, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution, the statement concludes.
