The national coach Vahid Halilhodzic revealed this Thursday, December 23, that the player Imran Louza tested positive for the COVID-19 pandemic ahead of CAN 2022.

Halilhodzic has already chosen the player Imran Louza to be part of the middle of the field of this sporting event, set to take place from January 09 to February 06 in Cameroon.

The national coach said he will follow up on the evolution of Imran Louza’s state ahead of this sporting event, and then he will decide whether to keep him or not.

The national team is placed in Group C, alongside Gabon, Ghana, and Comoros.

Morocco’s first game against Ghana for CAN 2022 is scheduled for Monday, January 10.
