Moroccan University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) has partnered with the Regional Investment Center (CRI) of Draa-Tafilalet, to promote scientific research in areas related to investment and co-construction, development and implementation of projects within the mining sector.
Both parties signed an agreement this Monday, November 22 in Benguerir, in the presence of UM6P President Hicham El Habti, and the Director-General of the CRI Drâa-Tafilalet, Allal El-Baz.
The agreement aims to cement the parties’ ambition to carry out “innovative actions with real impact,” which will include training in the mining sector and project management for the benefit of employees or investors in this field.
One of the most significant goals of this partnership is the acceleration of technology transfer in the mining sector, and the contribution to the development of a strategy for the sustainable development of the mining sector, as Morocco multiplies its efforts to find solutions and alternatives to polluting industries.
