The Ministry of National Education has given its approval for the creation of 10 new Bachelor programs in the Abdelmalek Essaadi University (UAE), starting October 1.
The ministry has given its approval for the creation of ten new fields, including Civil and Business Law, International Relations and Cooperation, Foreign languages used for organizations, Spanish Studies: Communication and Cultural Management, Business and conflict Law, also Law and Public Policy, according to the UAE.
The move comes after the Minister of National Education, Said Amzazi announced plans for implementing the 4-year program, aiming to open up to English as a language of innovation and economy.
“It’s an Anglo-Saxon model, made for new baccalaureate holders, quite new,” he said, adding, “this year will see the start of this new experience, and we cannot judge on its effects now,” University professor at King Fahd Higher School of Translation, under Abdelmalek Essaadi University, Tayeb Boutbouqalt told Hespress English today,
The UAE recalled that the new Bachelor system is recognized worldwide and offers significant possibilities in terms of exchange programs.
The Bachelor’s program will include eight teaching semesters split into 2; studying common subjects to the main disciplinary field for the first two years, and specializing during the two other years, according to the Ministry of National Education.
