A Jewish restaurant owner was attacked in Tangier and stabbed to death by a local homeless man on Wednesday, local authorities reported.
Authorities said preliminary reports indicate that the suspect frequented the restaurant in order to get free meals, before getting into an argument with the owner and assaulting him with a knife.
The same source added that witness reports suggest that the murder is related to a dispute resulting from the victim’s refusal to hire the suspect in his restaurant.
Tangier police launched an investigation to determine the details of the crime after reportedly having arrested the 36-year-old man responsible.
