Ayoub El Kaabi moved to the Turkish club Atakaş Hatayspor for a contract that runs until June 2023, after playing for the Antalyaspor club since August 20, 2012.
Hatayspor stepped forward in the transfer after Antalyaspor couldn’t exceed the budget set, and the Moroccan player ended up reaching an agreement with Hatayspor.
Hatayspor club announced the deal by sharing a photo of El Kaabi on its Instagram wearing the number 9.
The 28-year-old football player scored 61 times in 113 games in his career, with a total of 13 assists. Last season, he played 42 games in total, scoring 25 goals and 5 assists.
Considered as one of the best strikers in Morocco, El Kaabi finished the Botola 2020-2021 with Wydad with a total of 18 goals.
El Kaabi moved abroad after playing for Wydad, following his passion to Turkey and signing with Antalyaspor before moving to Hatayspor.
