The Mohammed VI Foundation for Environment Protection, chaired by HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, organized, on Saturday at Al Moussafir beach in Dakhla, an awareness-raising campaign called “BharBlaPlastic”, as part of its mobilization operation to fight pollution of seas and oceans by plastic waste.

This ecological action is carried out jointly by the Foundation, the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research and the National Office for Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE).

The Dakhla stage was marked by a series of awareness-raising activities through thematic workshops focusing in particular on  recycling, energy efficiency and renewable energy, the life cycle of plastic waste and the quality of bathing water.

These activities benefited young people from Eco-Schools programs, Young reporters for the environment and students belonging to the network of green universities, who also received theoretical and practical lessons in diving and swimming, with the participation of the Al Marjane diving and water sports association.
