Morocco coach Mohamed Ouahbi named five newcomers in a 29-man squad Thursday for the opening Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Gabon and Lesotho and a friendly against Ghana.
Yasser Zabiri, Abdellah Ouazane, goalkeeper Alaa Bellaarouch, Soufiane El Faouzi and Tawfik Bentayeb received their first senior call-ups.
The squad also includes established internationals Achraf Hakimi, Nayef Aguerd and Abde Ezzalzouli, alongside goalkeepers Yassine Bounou and Munir El Kajoui.
Morocco will open its qualifying campaign for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations against Gabon on September 25 at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
The Atlas Lions then face Lesotho in Bloemfontein, South Africa, on September 29 before hosting Ghana in Tangier on October 4.
