Deportivo La Coruña are considering Morocco winger Sofiane Boufal as a possible free-agent signing as the newly promoted Spanish club seeks another attacking option, La Opinión A Coruña reported.
The 32-year-old is among three candidates being assessed for the right flank alongside Jean-Luc Dompé and Cyriaque Irié. No offer or agreement has been reported, and another unnamed Spanish club is also said to be monitoring Boufal.
Boufal has been without a club since leaving Le Havre at the end of last season. He made 17 Ligue 1 appearances after joining the French side in January, scoring once and providing four assists.
A move would return Boufal to Spain after his 2018-19 loan spell at Celta Vigo, where he made 35 league appearances and scored three goals.
Deportivo have already strengthened their attack by signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as they prepare for their return to La Liga.
