Morocco’s National Agency for Public Facilities has launched two international tenders worth nearly MAD 370 million to install the pitch and seating at the Hassan II Grand Stadium in Benslimane, according to tender documents reviewed by Hespress on Aug. 13.

The larger contract, valued at MAD 277.5 million, covers the supply and installation of spectator, media, VIP and VVIP seating, as well as press tables and camera platforms.

A second MAD 92.5 million contract covers a hybrid natural-grass playing surface reinforced with synthetic fibres, alongside artificial turf in designated areas.

The pitch package includes underground ventilation and drainage, mobile LED lighting, smart irrigation and sensors monitoring temperature, humidity and salinity. Both contracts have a 14-month completion period.

The stadium is designed for 115,000 spectators and is intended to meet FIFA requirements for the 2030 World Cup, which Morocco will co-host with Spain and Portugal.
