A young man was killed in a stabbing at the Bouzemlane resort in Morocco’s Taza province, prompting a response from local authorities and Royal Gendarmerie officers, according to Moroccan newspaper Al Massae.
The victim died after allegedly being attacked with a bladed weapon by a suspect, the newspaper reported.
The victim’s body was taken to the morgue at Ibn Baja Provincial Hospital in Taza on orders from the public prosecutor’s office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Prosecutors also ordered a thorough investigation by the Royal Gendarmerie to establish the circumstances surrounding the killing and determine what led to the attack.
