His Majesty King Mohammed VI has sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe, Carlos Vila Nova, on the occasion of his country’s Independence Day.
In this message, HM the King expresses His warmest congratulations and wishes of good health and happiness to Vila Nova, and of further progress and prosperity to the people of São Tomé and Príncipe.
The Sovereign takes this opportunity to express how much He values the close relations rooted in friendship and cooperation between the two countries, reaffirming His determination to continue working together with President Vila Nova to develop these ties and establish a comprehensive partnership that serves the best interests of both peoples and stands out as a model of fruitful African cooperation.
