Morocco held a training session on Saturday at The Pingry School facilities in New Jersey as the Atlas Lions completed preparations for their final warm up match before the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The session began with fitness work indoors before players moved onto the training pitch under the supervision of head coach Mohamed Ouahbi and his technical staff.

Coaches focused on tactical and technical drills aimed at sharpening the squad’s physical condition and match readiness ahead of Sunday’s friendly against Norway at Red Bull Arena in New Jersey.

The fixture represents Morocco’s last opportunity to test formations and assess players before the start of the World Cup, where the Atlas Lions will seek to build on their historic run to the semifinals in Qatar four years ago.

Morocco was drawn into a challenging Group C alongside Brazil, Scotland and Haiti. The Atlas Lions open their campaign against Brazil on June 13 at MetLife Stadium in New York before facing Scotland on June 19 in Boston and Haiti on June 24 in Atlanta.

The Norway match is expected to provide the coaching staff with key insights as they finalize preparations for the tournament, with Morocco entering the competition carrying heightened expectations after becoming the first African and Arab nation to reach a World Cup semifinal.
