A young Moroccan woman in need of a life-saving lung transplant traveled to France on Wednesday to undergo specialized treatment after receiving support ordered by Mohammed VI, according Hespress AR sources.

The woman, identified only as Salma, arrived in Paris accompanied by her mother and is currently receiving care at Cochin Hospital.

The assistance package reportedly includes full medical coverage, transportation and accommodation arrangements, as well as the assignment of a driver and social worker to accompany the family throughout the treatment process in France.

Salma had previously appealed publicly for help in a video circulated on social media, saying she was unable to afford the costly and highly specialized surgery required for her condition.

The appeal reached the Moroccan monarch, who instructed authorities to fully cover her medical care and ensure access to all necessary treatment, including the lung transplant procedure abroad.

Hespress had earlier highlighted the woman’s deteriorating health condition and urgent need for a transplant. No additional medical details were immediately released.
