A 29-year-old woman was killed on Tuesday inside a money transfer agency in Casablanca’s Hay Moulay Rachid district, in a case that has triggered shock among locals.
Reports said the victim was allegedly killed by her employer during early working hours Tuesday.
Authorities forced their way into the agency following reports of screams from neighbors, where her body was found and transferred from Sidi Othmane Hospital to the morgue pending judicial and forensic procedures.
The alleged perpetrator has been identified in local reporting only as the victim’s employer, with several outlets describing him as the manager or owner of the agency where the attack took place.
