King Mohammed VI has condemned Iran’s attack on Bahrain in a message addressed to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, reaffirming Morocco’s support for Gulf security, according to a statement from the Royal Cabinet.

The message expressed what the statement described as a “strong condemnation of the abject Iranian aggression targeting the security and stability of the brotherly Bahraini people,” including civilian and military facilities.

The King voiced confidence that Bahrain would overcome the situation “stronger and more stable.”

The Royal Cabinet added that Morocco considers “the security of the Kingdom of Bahrain… an integral part of the security of the Kingdom of Morocco,” aligning Rabat with Gulf states amid escalating regional tensions.

The statement further said Morocco supports “all measures taken… to confront threats targeting national constants” and efforts aimed at “preserving national unity and stability.”
