Rabat to hold two day event for travel agencies and tourism operators
Tuesday 14 April 2026 - 13:23

Rabat will host a two day outreach event on April 15 and 16 aimed at destination management companies and inbound travel agencies, as the capital tries to build its profile in Morocco’s meetings and business tourism market.

The initiative, led by the Regional Tourism Council of Rabat Salé Kénitra with hotel and travel industry partners, will bring together tourism professionals for a reception and a familiarization trip.

The opening event will take place at Dyour Dbagh, a restored site in Rabat’s medina that has been converted into a cultural and events venue.

Organizers say the choice of location is meant to showcase the city’s heritage alongside its growing hospitality offer.

The program will continue the next day with a guided tour of Rabat and a lunch for invited participants. The broader aim is to present the capital as a practical option for corporate events, alongside more established destinations such as Marrakech and Casablanca.
