Achraf Hakimi, the Moroccan international and right back for Paris Saint-Germain, is open to a return to Real Madrid, according to Spanish media reports.
Journalist Ramon Alvarez de Mon of Radio Marca said Hakimi would be willing to push for the move. Writing on social media platform X, he said the player “wants to return to Real Madrid and is ready to take the necessary steps to make it happen.”
Hakimi’s current contract with PSG runs until 2029, which could complicate any potential transfer. However, improving relations between the two clubs may help facilitate negotiations, the report said.
Ties between Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi are said to have improved following tensions linked to the failed European Super League project.
Hakimi, a product of Real Madrid’s youth academy, left the Spanish club to join Inter Milan after a successful loan spell at Borussia Dortmund.
Any potential return could also be influenced by the presence of French star Kylian Mbappe at the Santiago Bernabéu, given the close relationship between the two players.
Despite the speculation, Hakimi remains focused on finishing the season strongly with PSG, as the club aims to defend its domestic league title and compete for the UEFA Champions League.
