Zeus Resources Ltd, an Australian listed mineral exploration company, said initial trench sampling at its Casablanca Antimony Project in central Morocco returned high grade antimony results and confirmed continuity along a targeted structural corridor.
Antimony is a metal used in flame retardants, lead alloys for batteries and some defense and semiconductor applications, and is often classified as a critical mineral because supply is concentrated in a small number of producing countries.
Zeus reported a length weighted intercept of 2 metres grading 22.69 percent antimony in Trench 1, with a peak assay of 37.14 percent from stibnite mineralisation. A step out trench about 185 metres along strike returned 3 metres grading 4.04 percent antimony, the company said.
Zeus said results align with geophysical targets identified in 2025. It plans additional trenching along a 4 kilometre strike length and said the program will support drill planning for a first drilling campaign targeted for the second quarter of 2026.
