Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses will face Senegal in Group A of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, set to take place in Morocco from March 17 to April 3, 2026, according to the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Group A also includes Algeria and Kenya, with all matches to be played at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat.

Group B features South Africa, Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, and Tanzania, and matches will take place at Rabat’s Al Madina Stadium

Group C includes 10-time African champions Nigeria, along with Zambia, Egypt, and debutants Malawi.

It is expected to be a tough group, with games to be played at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.

Group D features Ghana, Cameroon, Mali, and debutants Cape Verde, and will be based in Fes.

The top two teams in each group will qualify for the quarter-finals.

The four teams that reach the semi-finals will book a place at the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027.

The teams that lose in the quarter-finals will play extra matches to decide which two African sides move on to the inter-confederation play-offs for a place at the World Cup.
