Gates at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat will open at 3pm on Sunday ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations final between Morocco and Senegal, the organising committee said.
The measure is intended to ease access for spectators and reduce congestion around the stadium, according to a statement published on the official website of the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football.
The closing ceremony of the Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled to begin at 6.30pm, with kick-off set for 8pm, the organisers said.
The committee said the arrangements were part of broader organisational measures aimed at ensuring the smooth running of the tournament’s final match under optimal conditions.
Supporters attending the game were urged to arrive early, follow instructions issued by organisers and security services, respect crowd management rules, and demonstrate sportsmanship both inside and outside the stadium.
