The attendance figure represents the highest turnout recorded at the stadium during the tournament.
Morocco booked their place in the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 final after defeating Nigeria 4–2 on penalties following a 0–0 draw after extra time in the semifinal played Wednesday at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
Goalkeeper Yassine Bounou proved decisive in the shootout by saving Nigeria’s opening penalty, while captain Achraf Hakimi converted the winning kick to send the hosts through to a final against Senegal.
The victory sends Morocco into their first AFCON final since 2004, as they seek a maiden continental title on home soil.
