French striker Wissam Ben Yedder has signed a six month contract with Wydad Athletic Club, with an option to extend for a further year, French sports daily L’Équipe reported.
The agreement marks Ben Yedder’s third club in less than a year following spells in Iran and Turkey.
His short stint with Turkish second division side Sakaryaspor ended after four months, according to the report.
Ben Yedder scored five goals and registered three assists in 14 league matches for Sakaryaspor. He had joined the club after a brief period playing in Iran earlier in the year.
At Wydad, Ben Yedder returns to top flight football. The Casablanca based club currently leads the Moroccan league and is seeking its first domestic title since 2022.
