Morocco’s ministries of higher education and health agreed on measures to speed up diploma recognition and improve training conditions for students returning from Ukraine, the national office of the Moroccan association of parents of students in Ukraine said.
The association said officials showed “full understanding” of its demands during a meeting at the Higher Education Ministry, which also included representatives from the Health Ministry.
The talks focused on reducing delays in processing equivalency files, shortening training periods and creating a national body to manage study abroad cases.
The ministries also agreed to launch a unified digital platform bringing together government and professional stakeholders to streamline case handling and communication, according to the statement.
Education officials said the proposals would be presented to the network of deans of medical schools at a meeting on Nov. 28. The association added that a draft higher education law would allow foreign universities to open in Morocco, easing family costs.
Health officials committed to expanding training facilities nationwide, improving equipment, especially in dentistry, and studying monthly allowances for returning students.
