Tarifa port authorities in southern Spain announced on Sunday the full resumption of maritime traffic, including direct crossings to Tangier Ville, following a marked improvement in sea conditions.
The authority said ferry operators on the Tarifa Tangier route have reinstated their regular schedules and noted that no disruptions or cancellations are expected at this stage. Sailings had been suspended for nearly three days due to severe weather linked to Storm Claudia, which brought rough seas to the Strait of Gibraltar.
Officials said the easing of winds and reduced turbulence now allow crossings to operate safely, restoring passenger movement between the two ports.
