The Moroccan Council of Jewish Communities praised King Mohammed VI for his wisdom and foresight, highlighting that his prudent leadership and peaceful diplomacy have once again yielded broad international support.

In a statement, the council expressed its satisfaction with the United Nations Security Council’s adoption on October 31, 2025, of a resolution affirming Morocco’s full sovereignty over its southern provinces.

The council described the decision, which recognizes Morocco’s autonomy plan under its sovereignty as the sole realistic solution to the long-standing regional dispute, as a clear acknowledgment of the kingdom’s legitimate rights over its entire territory.

The statement also expressed gratitude to the king for his tireless efforts to safeguard Morocco’s territorial integrity and praised the Moroccan people for their steadfastness and sacrifices over the past five decades in defending their rights.

Concluding the statement, the council affirmed that Moroccan Jews, deeply rooted in the country’s history and committed to the nation’s values, continue to strongly support Morocco’s territorial unity.
