Morocco’s travel revenues reached more than 100 billion dirhams at the end of the first nine months of 2025, up from 87.24 billion dirhams in September 2024, according to the Exchange Office.

In its latest monthly report on foreign trade indicators, the office said tourism income rose by 14.7 percent year-on-year. Travel spending also increased by 9.5 percent, reaching 24.4 billion dirhams.

As a result, the travel balance surplus improved by 16.4 percent, exceeding 75.63 billion dirhams by the end of September. The office noted that these figures confirm the continued recovery of Morocco’s tourism sector and its contribution to the country’s foreign exchange earnings.
