Morocco’s leading companies continue to reflect the country’s economic transformation, according to the 24th edition of Les 500 Global, published by Economie Entreprises and Kompass Maroc in partnership with Horizon Press.
The ranking portrays a maturing economy driven by industrial diversification and regional dynamism.
OCP S.A. retained its top position with 96.9 billion dirhams in revenue, followed by Renault Maroc (63 billion) and the National Electricity and Water Office (ONEE) with 42.5 billion. Maroc Telecom and Attijariwafa bank rounded out the top five.
Now in its 24th year, the ranking has become a key barometer of Morocco’s productive capacity and a strategic tool for investors.
It highlights sustained growth across automotive, finance, energy and digital sectors, supported by reforms and infrastructure expansion.
Regional editions underscore the country’s economic diversification: Casablanca-Settat maintains industrial dominance, while Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, Souss-Massa and Fès-Meknès emerge as new poles of competitiveness.
Sectorally, OCP, Renault, Cosumar and Wafa Assurance lead their respective industries, while digital champions Maroc Telecom, Orange and Intelcia symbolize Morocco’s shift toward high-value services.
The 2025 edition also launches a regional “caravan,” connecting the ranking’s findings to local economic realities through forums in Tangier, Agadir and Casablanca, aimed at fostering dialogue between public and private actors on competitiveness and innovation.
