Royal Air Maroc (RAM) inaugurated its new direct air route between Casablanca and Munich today, Monday, marking a strategic expansion of Morocco’s air network with Europe. Munich is a key economic, industrial, and technological hub in Southern Germany.
The inaugural flight departed from Mohammed V International Airport at 1:30 PM and arrived at Munich Airport at 6:00 PM local time (5:00 PM Morocco time). RAM initially plans to schedule two weekly flights between the two cities, with intentions to gradually increase frequency based on growing demand.
RAM views this new route as a critical bridge linking two prominent economic centers: Casablanca, a major business hub in Africa, and Munich, a vital industrial and technological heart in Europe. The direct connection is expected to facilitate travel for businesspeople, investors, researchers, and tourists, thereby strengthening economic and commercial cooperation between Morocco and Germany.
