Morocco’s national football team clinched its 15th consecutive victory on Thursday, defeating Bahrain 1–0 in a friendly match at Rabat’s Moulay Abdellah complex.
Jaouad El Yamiq scored the game’s only goal in stoppage time (90+4’), sealing another win for Walid Regragui’s side in a one-sided encounter that extended the Atlas Lions’ remarkable run.
With this result, Morocco equals the world record for most consecutive international wins, previously held jointly by Germany and Spain at 15.
The North African team now stands on the brink of history: a win against Congo next Tuesday, in the final round of 2026 World Cup qualifiers, would give Morocco sole possession of the all-time record.
