Moroccan healthcare group Akdital said it has never received any form of government or public funding for its investments, stressing that all its projects were financed through internal resources, bank loans, and market subscriptions.
In a clarification note shared with Hespress, the publicly listed company said it complies fully with transparency requirements set by the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC), allowing public access to its quarterly and annual reports.
Akdital’s investments now cover all twelve regions of Morocco, including the southern provinces of Laayoune, Dakhla, and Guelmim, as well as cities such as Errachidia, Essaouira, and Nador. Each new medical facility, it said, creates over 200 jobs, most of them for young Moroccan women.
The company added that while its projects meet the criteria of the new Investment Charter, it has not benefited from any public aid. It also called for publishing a list of clinics that did.
