Moroccan football star Sofiane Boufal, who plays for the Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise, today, Thursday, denied circulating rumors about the death of his mother.
In a message posted on his official Instagram Story, Boufal wrote: “Rumors about my mother’s death are completely unfounded. My mother is doing well, and we thank you for respecting our privacy. Please do not spread this false information.”
The strong rumor had begun on Wednesday night, alleging that Boufal’s mother had passed away in Qatar after a long illness.
