Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri reaffirmed his scoring prowess by ranking among the world’s top scorers for 2025, according to the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) monthly ranking published through August 31.

The Fenerbahçe forward has netted 24 goals since the start of the year, placing him 14th worldwide and ahead of several high-profile stars, including Cristiano Ronaldo with 16 goals and Erling Haaland with 22.

France’s Kylian Mbappé leads the global chart for the fourth consecutive month with 35 goals for Real Madrid and the French national team. He is followed by Denmark’s Patrick Pedersen of Valur in Iceland with 32 goals, while England captain Harry Kane climbed to third with 31 thanks to his prolific start at Bayern Munich. Other leading names include Ousmane Dembélé of Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy.

En-Nesyri is also part of Morocco’s squad facing Niger in Rabat on Friday in World Cup 2026 qualifiers.
