Trade between Morocco and Chile has recorded steady growth since 2019, with an average annual increase of 31.5%, according to updated figures from Chile’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Between 2019 and 2024, bilateral trade volume rose from $27 million to $105 million. The data, based on Chile’s Central Bank statistics, show Morocco now enjoys a $60 million trade surplus with Chile.
While Chile’s exports to Morocco grew at an average annual rate of 2.6%, its imports from the Kingdom surged by 52.2% annually over the same period.
Morocco’s exports to Chile include phosphate derivatives, vehicles and spare parts, and oils. In return, Morocco imports Chilean walnuts, fish, and machinery.
