Tuesday 17 June 2025 - 16:39

From November 1 to 3, Marrakech is set to host the continent’s biggest celebration of coffee and tea culture. The “Marrakech Coffee & Tea Festival 2025” brings together over 400 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors, making it Africa’s largest gathering of coffee and tea professionals, suppliers, and enthusiasts.

The three-day event will be a vibrant hub for business, culture, and flavor, showcasing a broad spectrum of products that range from specialty brews to chocolate, desserts, ice creams, and artisanal beverages.

Highlights include the “National Moroccan Coffee & Tea Championships”, where top baristas and tea sommeliers will compete live, along with dozens of expert-led sessions, ranging from sustainability talks to hands-on workshops in brewing, roasting, and latte art.

Festival-goers can also expect live music, with a major highlight being the “Sahara Concert” on the festival’s opening night, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Green March.

The festival will also feature Moroccan art exhibitions, cultural showcases, and a global food court with gourmet offerings inspired by coffee and tea traditions from around the world.

Marrakech was chosen not just for its charm and heritage, but for its strategic location. With direct international flight access, world-class infrastructure, and a booming hospitality sector, the city is emerging as a regional hub.

The festival offers a prime platform for businesses looking to tap into the fast-growing African and MENA markets, blending commerce, culture, and creativity in one of Africa’s most iconic cities.
