On the eve of Aid Al Adha, Société nationale des autoroutes du Maroc (ADM) is informing freeway users that the entire freeway network will see a significant increase in traffic, presenting them with a series of recommendations for a safe and comfortable journey.

In a press release, ADM expects heavy traffic particularly during the following periods: Thursday and Friday, June 05 and 06, between 3pm and 10pm, and Monday, June 09, between 4pm and 10pm, which coincides with the return phase.

For a safe and comfortable journey, ADM recommends that users plan their journeys in advance, check the current traffic situation by downloading the ADM TRAFIC application, check the remaining balance on their Jawaz Pass and top it up before using the freeway, in particular via the new Jawaz application in addition to the existing physical and digital channels, adds the same source, adding that Jawaz is also available for sale and top-up at service area stores.

ADM also advises motorists to pay close attention to weather warnings, to be vigilant in the event of gusts of wind, rain or fog, to take breaks every two hours, to check the mechanical condition of their vehicles, especially tires, and not to occupy the hard shoulder except in cases of extreme emergency.

For its part, and in order to manage the heavy traffic experienced during this period and offer freeway users a safe and pleasant journey, ADM assures that it is organizing itself, as in exceptional periods, in total vigilance mode, which consists in particular of reinforcing the teams in charge of traffic management and assistance, the early maintenance of equipment and infrastructure upkeep, as well as reinforcing communication with users and close collaboration with all those working on the motorway network.
