King Mohammed VI received several newly appointed ambassadors to Morocco’s diplomatic missions during an audience held on Monday at the Royal Palace in Rabat.
On this occasion, the Sovereign presented them with their official letters of appointment (dahirs).
The newly appointed ambassadors are:
- Ahmed Rida Chami, Ambassador to the European Union;
- Othman El Ferdaous, Ambassador to the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire;
- Majid Halim, Ambassador to Malaysia;
- Omar Amghar, Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia;
- Redouane Houssaini, Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia;
- Younes Dirhoussi, Ambassador to Saint Lucia;
- Najoua El Berrak, Ambassador to the Republic of the Congo;
- Boutaina El Kerdoudi, Ambassador to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh;
- Abdelkader El Jamoussi, Ambassador to the Republic of Cameroon;
- Mohammed Iboumraten, Ambassador to the Republic of Niger;
- Fatiha Layadi, Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark;
- Mustapha El Alami Fellousse, Ambassador to the Central African Republic.
Following the ceremony, Omar Amghar, Redouane Houssaini, Younes Dirhoussi, Najoua El Berrak, Boutaina El Kerdoudi, Abdelkader El Jamoussi, Mohammed Iboumraten, Fatiha Layadi, and Mustapha El Alami Fellousse took the oath of office before the King.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, as well as the King’s Chamberlain, Sidi Mohamed El Alaoui.
