The U.S. Embassy in Rabat has issued a stern warning to Moroccans contemplating illegal entry into the United States, highlighting the severe consequences for those who attempt to circumvent U.S. immigration laws.
According to the embassy, President Donald Trump is dedicated to safeguarding U.S. security, strength, and prosperity by ensuring strict adherence to immigration laws, a commitment that includes imposing stringent penalties on individuals who attempt to enter unlawfully, provide false information to obtain a visa, work without authorization, or overstay their visas.
The embassy further emphasized that individuals found violating these laws could face serious consequences, such as imprisonment, deportation, and a permanent ban on future U.S. visas.
The embassy strongly advised those with family or friends currently residing in the U.S. illegally to urge them to return to Morocco, as those attempting to enter or remain in the U.S. without proper authorization will be apprehended and sent back to their home countries.
