With the ambition of establishing itself as a key player in hydrogen, Morocco is accelerating its drive with investment projects worth 319 billion dirhams, the French website “Environnement Magazine” reported on Monday.

In an article titled “319 Billion on the Table: Morocco Bets Big on Green Hydrogen,” the specialized website highlights that “Morocco is accelerating in the green hydrogen race by selecting five consortia to launch six large-scale projects in the south of the country.”

With 319 billion dirhams on the table “the Kingdom aims to establish itself as a key player in the hydrogen sector”, the French website adds.

Recalling the March 6 meeting of the steering committee dedicated to “Morocco’s Hydrogen Offer,” which led to the selection of five national and international investors for the implementation of six major projects in three southern regions of the Kingdom, the website points out that the project selection process remains open to all investors, “reflecting Morocco’s commitment to strengthening its position on the international green hydrogen stage.”
