Hespress AR has learned from a diplomatic source that the plane of General de Brigade Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, the transitional president of Gabon, will land this evening, Tuesday, at Rabat-Sale airport, “as part of a private visit,” noting that “his stay will be in a luxury hotel in Rabat.”
The same source revealed that “this visit carries with it a tourist trip that the transitional president of Gabon is looking forward to,” pointing out that “his wife, Zita Oligui, arrived last week in Morocco, as part of the periodic visits that the first lady of Gabon is currently making to the Kingdom.”
The Hespress AR source highlighted that “the transitional president holds Morocco in high esteem among North African countries,” noting that “there will be no diplomatic atmosphere for this visit, and it will mostly be limited to what is family and personal.”
It is worth noting that Oligui previously received his training at the military academy in Meknes, before returning to Gabon to receive new military training at the commando training center, which made him quickly climb the hierarchy of the Republican Guard.
