The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Sunday that Cairo will host an emergency Arab summit on February 27 to discuss the “new and dangerous developments” of the Palestinian issue.
The summit comes amid widespread regional and global condemnation of U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to “take control of the Gaza Strip” by Israel and create what he described as a “Middle East Riviera” in the Gaza Strip after resettling Palestinians elsewhere.
