Morocco is among the African countries set to benefit from Zambia’s decision to expand its visa-free access to around 50 new nations, starting in 2025. This move, announced by the Zambian government, aims to stimulate the tourism sector and boost the national economy.
Other countries included in the new exemptions are Liberia, Cabo Verde, Comoros, Madagascar, and São Tomé and Príncipe. Tourism, which contributes 10% to Zambia’s GDP, is seen as a key driver for economic growth, and with this initiative, the government hopes to attract 3 million tourists by 2026.
