Trump vows to end “transgender madness” during term
Monday 23 December 2024 - 11:35

On Sunday, Donald Trump announced that he intends to halt what he called the “transgender madness” from day one of his presidency, set for next month.

Speaking at a Young Conservatives event in Phoenix, Arizona, the elected president emphasized that, upon his inauguration on January 20, he would sign decrees to end “child gender mutilation” and remove transgender individuals from the military and public schools.

He also promised to prevent men from competing in women’s sports, asserting that U.S. government policy would recognize only two genders: male and female.

Trump also escalated his attacks on immigration, a key issue in his 2024 campaign.

He vowed immediate action against “immigrant crime,” labeling drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations and reiterating his goal to regain control over the Panama Canal.
