The Atlas Mountains in Morocco have been identified as one of the top three mountain destinations for 2025, alongside the Italian Dolomites and Chile’s Portillo sites.

According to Forbes, Pinterest’s annual trend report, which has an 80% accuracy rate, shows a 30% increase in interest for the Moroccan Atlas.

The growing interest in Morocco’s mountainous region comes at a time when the country is experiencing a surge in tourism. Its modern railway network offers affordable and efficient transport, enhancing accessibility.

Marrakech, serving as a gateway to the Atlas Mountains, was named one of the most economical all-inclusive destinations outside Europe in 2023.
