Morocco’s Anas Moussa delivered a stellar performance, clinching the silver medal at the FIFAe World Cup 2024, in eFootball-Mobile, held in Riyadh.

Moussa came up short in the final, losing to the Malaysian representative and pocketing a $15,000 prize.

He becomes the first Arab and African player to reach this round, following his victory over the Thai team representative in the semi-finals.

Moussa qualified after his victory in the e-Mountakhab, organized by the Royal Moroccan Federation of Electronic Games, in partnership with FIFA and with the participation of the top 100 Moroccan players from all over the world.

The Moroccan player stood out in the competition by finishing second in his group, before defeating the South Korean representative in a two-legged tie and securing a historic victory over the Thai representative in both legs.

It started in 2004 with the inaugural FIFA Interactive World Cup and developed into a professional sport in recent years which is nowadays reflected by the dedicated FIFAe brand.
