Cercle Eugène Delacroix (CED) will hold next Thursday at the Senate in Paris the 3rd France-Morocco Elected Officials Forum, on the theme “Viewpoints on Ecological transition in the territories”.
The event also marks CED’s 10th anniversary, “a network of French elected officials committed to promoting and developing the exceptional ties between France and Morocco”, according to organizers.
The forum, the same source adds, will bring together political figures and experts from both countries to discuss contemporary challenges of ecological transition.
This year’s event program consists of three thematic roundtables; the first focusing on the two countries’ achievements in terms of ecological transition, the second on their ecological transition model, and the third on efforts and commitment of diasporas to ecological transition.
These exchanges will provide an opportunity to share experiences, initiatives and best practices for a successful ecological transition in the respective territories of the two countries, the organizers explain.
Celebrations to mark the 10th anniversary of the CED are on the schedule, the same source adds, being “a moment of exchange and sharing with a view to forging links and strengthening synergies around the ecological transition and France-Morocco relations which, since the recent state visit to Morocco by President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, at the invitation of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, are experiencing renewed momentum”.
