Owner of "City Club" confronted with testimonies in sexual harassment case

Owner of the City Club gym chain,  Jonathan Harroch, was confronted by the investigating judge at the Casablanca Court of Appeals with testimony from several complainants, some of which included allegations of sexual harassment.

According to Hespress AR sources, during the investigation session on Wednesday, the judge directly questioned Harroch about statements made by four women.

His questioning follows the testimonies heard the previous week, in which the complainants accused Harroch of delaying payments to employees at his sports clubs and engaging in inappropriate behavior. One of the women also accused him of sexual harassment.

Despite these accusations, Harroch, who is currently in pre-trial detention at Oukacha Prison in Casablanca, has consistently denied the charges.

He maintains that he has no connection to the complainants, labeling the accusations as part of a personal vendetta. Sources say that Harroch stood by his previous statements made during questioning by the National Judicial Police, where he denied all allegations.

Meanwhile, two women arrested with Harush in a Casablanca hotel have yet to be questioned following their confrontation with the accused.

The investigation has been postponed by the judge to allow for further detailed questioning.

Harroch was arrested based on an arrest warrant linked to issuing millions of dirhams in bounced checks and possessing 2.5 grams of cocaine. These charges were filed alongside the allegations of misconduct involving the two women found in his hotel room.
